Three Steps to Bring the Commandments to Life
1 - KNOW THEM
The prerequisite for living the commandments is that you know them, not just at the surface level, but that you know them well and are prepared to quickly, freely, and properly apply them in everyday situations.
- Can you recite them, and in the correct order?
- Do you understand how the Commandments work, both for and against you?
- Do you readily apply them in your everyday decisions and interactions?
- Do you see them as just a list of rules, outdated and imposed on us by a demanding God?
